Find peace with food and confidence in your body—without another diet.

Personalized nutrition counseling for individuals ready to heal their relationship with food and body through a non-diet, collaborative approach.

Let's talk about how you want to feel around food
Various spices and herbs in small bowls on a wooden surface, including dried red peppers, cinnamon sticks, star anise, and peppercorns.

I understand firsthand how food can impact our daily lives, both negatively and positively.

As a former competitive runner, I once felt trapped by food rules and restriction. Discovering Intuitive Eating made all the difference. It helped me rebuild trust with my body and find the joy in eating again.

Now, I help others do the same—restoring peace with food, one conversation at a time.

Does this sound familiar?

 FAQs

  • Registered dietitians are an integral part of the treatment team. As a dietitian, we can assess nutritional adequacy as well as identify potential nutrient deficiencies, develop nutritional rehabilitation plans to allow for successful renourishment, provide nutrition counseling and education, and collaborate with other members of the patient's care team to include therapist and physician.

  • Upon first meeting, we will thoroughly assess your history and relationship with food, movement, and body image. Then, a nutrition and exercise care plan will begin to be developed, with initial goals of meeting to be established to further guide our work together. Follow up sessions include provision of medical nutrition therapy, nutrition education, revision of our care plan, further exploration and revision of goals, and identification of resources to aid in recovery.

  • Session frequency and length of time working together can depend upon a variety of factors including a client's readiness to change, the presence of a strong support system, and the duration of eating disorder behaviors to name a few. Generally, clients are seen on a weekly or bi-weekly frequency at the beginning of our work together, with sessions becoming less frequent as goals of care are met and time progresses. I take a collaborative approach when guiding clients, with input from clients being highly valued when determining the frequency in which we will meet alongside the professional insight from myself as the registered dietitian guiding you on this path to recovery.

  • I am in-network with BlueCross BlueShield (BCBS), Aetna, Midland’s Choice, and United Healthcare.

You may already have unused insurance benefits that cover nutrition counseling at no cost to you, meaning no deductible or copay applies. Many plans include ~12 visits per year under preventative care benefits.

I am also able to provide you with a superbill upon request, which is an itemized receipt that can be individually submitted to insurance by the client.

If insurance does not cover our sessions together, acceptable forms of payment include credit/debit card, FSA/HSA funds.

Please contact me if you have further questions concerning insurance coverage.

  • Based on the No Surprises Act passed in 2022, upon request and/or at time of scheduling, I can provide you a list of expected charges for services rendered during our time together. These Good Faith Estimates do not include unexpected costs that may arise.
